On December 4, 2020, a VC partner half-jokingly tweeted: “What if we move Silicon Valley to Miami?” Miami Mayor Francis Suarez quote-tweeted four words that changed the trajectory of an entire city:
“How can I help?”
That tweet generated over 2.3 million impressions. Within months, tech founders, VCs, and entire companies began relocating. What followed was one of the most dramatic transformations in American tech history.
